Game Night!

My friends and I love a game night. Now that we are in our 30’s, we find it much more enjoyable than going out to a bar where you can’t hear each other over the music. It allows for more quality time together.
Throw out some snacks for your friends that they can graze at all night. Or have all of your friends bring a dish or snack and make it a potluck! Its always great when you don’t have to do all the work. It also makes for an easy last minute get together to throw.

This party idea is simple and just involves a tablescape. You don’t need to decorate the whole house for a game night. But adding a few touches to where you place the food and snacks can elevate your themed party. If you are playing games at the kitchen table use an island, counter or buffet to place your food. And if you are playing around the living room you can put food out on the table. The only decor element is sprinkling game pieces around the food you are serving. And there is no wrong way to do it! That is all you need to elevate the space. Having extra game pieces also doubles as backup for that game you lost the dice to. Find your favorite pieces and mix them up in-between the platters and bowls of food. You and your friends can then graze all night during games and you don’t have that worry about when you’ll eat and then when you’ll start playing games. There is no time frame!
